A MOTORBIKE was dumped in a field and set alight in Princetown in the early hours of last Wednesday (July 31).

A fire crew from Princetown was sent to the incident following a call from a resident of Moor Crescent, who could see a fire at the top of the field, opposite the crescent, but was not sure what it was.

On arrival the crew confirmed a motorbike had been dumped in a sports field and deliberately set on fire.

The crew extinguished the fire using a hose-reel jet.
