A FORMER Tavistock College student presented a mammoth cheque to charity, following a gruelling cycle ride from John o Groats to Lands End earlier this year.

Dan undertook the cycle ride while in the middle of his treatment for a brain tumour, and was joined by 60 cyclists made up of family members and friends.
The route took them from John OGroats, down the east coast of Scotland, along Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal, through Glencoe and down Loch Lomond to Glasgow and continuing on the western side of England to Lands End, a total of 905 miles.
Dan paid tribute to everybody who supported him on his fabulous journey.
