I WAS interested to read the article in this week?s Times (September 23rd) concerning the buses on Bere Ferrers route.
Our service to Meavy and Walkhampton is also being taken over as from Monday by DAC. I rang them some weeks ago when I learnt this and was assured that timetable and fares would remain unchanged. I have today picked up a new timetable and see that three buses are being cut in the afternoon and one more on a Saturday!
The people on this route will sorely miss Dave & Jo our drivers as they have become part of the community.
