THE spring and summer edition of the Dartmoor National Park Authority?s Dartmoor Visitor newpaper is now available, giving information for residents and visitors to the area.
The free newspaper, now in full colour, contains a local events programme, including over 150 guided walks for a wide range of abilities. There are also monthly map and compass courses for beginners and improvers and junior classes.
Anyone arriving at a DNPA guided walk starting point by public transport can go on the walk free of charge on production of their bus ticket.
Ranger Ralph events continue throughout the spring and summer, encouraging children to enjoy Dartmoor with a range of entertaining and informative events, all of which can be found in the Dartmoor Visitor.
