TAVISTOCK Area Support Services and Dartmoor National Park have joined forces to provide access to Dartmoor for older people. The partnership will provide easy access for older people and those using wheelchairs, exploring with a guide the legends of the moor, visiting beauty spots and stopping for a light lunch in a local hostelry. Andy Lyle, manager of TASS, said: 'This is a wonderful opportunity for people to access Dartmoor and enjoy the scenery, whilst listening to a guide telling stories of places of interest.' The outings are running throughout the summer, with the first being held this Saturday (May 3). For further information contact Andy on 01822 616958.
