OKEHAMPTON Golf Club's professional, Ashley Moon, defeated a strong field at East Devon for a two-stroke victory.
His superb round in blustery conditions contained a run of five threes in six holes around the turn to allow him to cruise to victory of the tough finish.
He said: 'I played really nice from tee to green and holed my share of putts along the way.
'The finish was really tough into the strong wind, but having set the round up, it was nice to be in cruise control over the final three holes.'
In second place on level par was Hele Park's Jon Langmead, closely followed by Cliff Strange and Duncan Giblett.
