STUNNING Dartmoor scenes are the focus of a new, dual-purpose calendar just published by a partnership of moorland organisations.

The Dartmoor 2005 Postcard Calendar has been produced by the Dartmoor Tourist Association, Dartmoor Preservation Association and the Dartmoor News Magazine.

The high-quality, slimline calendar features 12 beautiful moorland scenes, which can be torn off and used as postcards.

Included in the images are pictures of the River Avon above Shipley Bridge, Brentor Church, Spinsters Rock near Drewsteignton and Scorhill stone circle.

Dru Butterfield of Dartmoor Preservation Association, said: ?This has been a great opportunity for three organisations with Dartmoor at their heart to come together and produce a fantastic reminder of how beautiful Dartmoor looks ? all year round.?
