IN division one of the Okehampton and district table tennis league Okehampton A had another 10-0 win, this time against The Mixtures.

Although Karen Stephenson took Nick Jack and Barry Vaughan to a 4 leg set. Loraine also took Barry to 4 legs in the first. Sarah Jackson put up a fight in the last singles just losing out to Barry Denner 11-0, 11-9, 16-18, 11-7.

In division two Horrabridge beat Milton Abbot B 6-4. Allan Yeo beat Ben Evans 11-6, in the fifth leg to put Horrabridge 1-0 ahead. Rob Evans won the next against Will Hall and Harry Barnaby made 2-1 to Milton.

Chloe Greenaway, Horrabridge, won the next two to lead 3-2, Rob Evans won his second to leave at 3-3. Will Hall and Chloe Greenaway won the next two singles andin the last singles completed a fine maximum beating Alan Yoe 11-6, 6-11, 7-11, 16-14, 3-11.

Horrabridge win the doubles for their first 6-4 win.

The next match Okehampton C took on Milton Abbot. The Okehampton side of Frank Cockurn, Richard Rose and Ivor Copley, were too strong for Milton Abbot winning the match 10-0 to go top of the league table.

The next match Anchorage were at home to Moretonhampstead in a hard fought and enjoyable match, Ken Underhill scored a hard earned maximum. Dave Wilson lost the first 4-11 in the fifth leg Roger Gilbert also took him to a five leg decider loosing out 10-12, 11-7, 13-11, 2-11, 1-11. Brian Skilton won the other single for Moreton against Jenny Gilbert with the score at 4-4 Dave Wilson won the last singles against Brian Skilton. Dave and roger winning the doubles for a 6-4 win for Anchorage.

In the last match Milton B played their A side, who were too strong winning the match 10-0. Rob Evens took Michael Blatchford to a fifth leg decider losing out 4-11 in the 5th led Harry Barnaby also took Michael to 4 legs losing out 9-11 in the fourth.
