TAVISTOCK Community FC's mini soccer centre coaches really looked the part at training this week thanks to their brand new shower jackets sponsored by Ron's Pets supplies.
The mini soccer centre, which provides quality coaching for children U8s has grown considerably over the last couple of months, and now has between 50-60 children taking part in the fun sessions every week.
The centre also thank Rob Allen RF builders and Mike Williamson of Manor Garage, Horrabridge who have kindly provided them with balls and equipment which was much needed with the sudden growth in numbers.
Neil Jordain, Tavistock football development officer, said: 'The support of these local businesses is crucial to the development of our centre. The U8s are the starting blocks of the community club, and we hope they will go on to play for the club for many years to come.'
If anyone is interested in joining the mini soccer centre they train on Tuesday nights from 5-6pm on Tavistock College's all weather pitch, and will be starting back to training on January 11.
