A LUCKY Okehampton man will temporarily swap the brand new Peugeot 206 he recently won in a staff competition for a Lamborghini Diablo as part of another promotion run by mobile phone store JAG.
Mike Howard, manager of JAG in Okehampton, won the great prize of a memorable driving day behind the wheel of some of the fastest cars ever built, including a Lamborghini Diablo, Dodge Viper, Nobel and a Lotus.
Mike will also be given driving tuition at the racetrack at Loughborough as part of the prize.
Mike said 'It will be so good to drive the cars, as I don't think that I would be able to afford one even if I wanted one.'
'It is always nice to be able to reward staff when they have evidently worked so hard, and with prizes like these, I am sure they will be keen to win again!', said Kieran Neale, marketing and PR manager for JAG.
In a separate promotion for managers last month, Mike was the lucky recipient of a brand new Peugeot 206.
His latest reward was one of two top prizes among prizes and vouchers worth more than £3,000 that JAG gave to its staff.
The promotion was run in conjunction with one of the UK's largest networks, O2, which backed the scheme from its start and helped to provide the prizes.
Other prizes included a three-night holiday in Dublin, a theatre trip to London, a helicopter flight, stunt-flying, a break at a health spa, a flying lesson and a number of high street vouchers.
