TAVISTOCK started the game in the ascendency thanks to some quick thinking, passing and movement from the returning Adam Davies and captain Dom Matcham in midfield ably assisted out wide by Jamie Doyle and Josh Robins.
This allowed strikers Ben Pridham and Callum Thompson the chances to threaten the Morley defence, which they did on numerous occasions. One of these saw Pridham set loose 10 metres from goal before he dispatched the ball soundly into the net to make the score 0-1.
Morley seldom threatened for the remainder of the first half, due in the main to excellent defending from man of the match Paul Wearing and centre backs Joel Blatchford and the debutant Jamie Court.
The status quo continued in the second half and allowed Callum Thompson the time to sprint through the opposition defence to make it 0-2. This seemed to galvanise the oppositon, along with some relaxed Tavistock play, and Morley started to play attractive, yet unproductive football, until the ball came to Thompson once more to hit it through the keepers legs to make it 0-3.
