A TOTAL of 20 club MGs parked up on the carriage drive at Kelly House at Lifton recently, to form a splendid display for its open day.
Members of Tamar Valley MG Owners Club met up near Yelverton to drive in convoy to the house.
Hilary Medland, a spokesperson for the club: said: 'Mr Kelly was surprised to see so many cars driving in, I myself had no real idea of the response we would get.
'The Kelly family's own two classic cars were also on display. After parking up we were treated to a tour of the house and then most people had a cream tea.
'It was very interesting for members to see the work being undertaken on the house, different skills required to those needed for restoring a classic car, but still a massive amount of work involved.'
Tamar Valley MG Owners Club thanked the Kelly family and their helpers for a lovely afternoon out with its cars.
