A MEETING organised by Okehampton Auctions to give the public the chance to air their views on proposals to turn the town?s market hall into a cinema has been postponed. The meeting which was due to take place tonight (Thursday) in the Charter Hall, was no longer able to be held this week. Steve Wreford of Okehampton Auctions said he hoped a new date for a meeting would be arranged soon and that West Devon and Torridge MP Geoffrey Cox would be able to attend. l OKEHAMPTON Town Council formally adopted the report for the proposed change of the market hall at its meeting on Monday night.
