OPPORTUNITIES to handle a variety of ?creepy crawlies? including spiders and snakes are on offer at Okehampton Library on Saturday, October 13 from 9.30am to 12.30pm, as part of its activities to mark Family Learning Week. The creatures will be brought by staff from Reptobug, who will also give interactive talks on their lives and care. Children and their parents and carers are invited to drop into this exciting free event. Family Learning Week highlights the importance of children and families learning together and supporting each other?s learning. Participants sometimes discover new interests which they then go onto explore in more depth.
