FOUR medical students from the Peninsula Medical School, gave their time to visit a group of gifted and talented students in year nine at Tavistock College recently.

The medical students spoke about how to apply to medical school and then involved students in a range of interactive activities. The students 'scrubbed up' with surgical gowns and gloves, used stethoscopes to listen to their hearts and used a UV light to highlight how dirty hands can be, even when they are considered clean.

The group enjoyed the visit and the school was grateful to the medical students for giving their time.
