MEADOWLANDS Leisure Pool has been closed — and could remain so for weeks — for safety reasons.

West Devon Borough Council has confirmed to the Times that 1Life are working to find a resolution as quickly as possible and get the centre reopened although this could take several weeks. 

On Friday a gas flue leak was discovered and the boilers were immediately shut down. 1Life are now waiting for a specialist engineer report on the works required to make repairs and the time sale for reopening the pool.
