MEADOWLANDS Swimming Pool staff in Tavistock said a fond farewell to Amy Warnett (front row, dark shirt), who has left there for promotion to aquatics adviser at Worcester Swimming Pool.
Amy started work at Meadowlands four years ago as a lifeguard and has gradually assumed more responsibility, becoming a valued swimming teacher and duty manager.
On her last day Amy was swamped with good luck cards and gifts from well-wishers, who will be sad to see her go.
David Dennis, manager of Meadowlands, said 'Amy is a wonderful person with a big future ahead of her in the Leisure industry. This move is a fantastic opportunity for Amy. We will miss her but we also wish her the very best'.
