A FORMER Tavistock College student is making huge impressions on the international rugby scene. Matt left Tavistock to take up a job at an investment bank in New York. Soon after arriving in America he joined the New York rugby club and became an instant hit. He has since moved on to Hong Kong and now enjoys playing for the Hong Kong rugby club. With a world famous skyline as a back drop it is a far cry from his days at playing for Tavistock. In a recent sevens competition in Hong Kong, Matt played against a team from the Chinese army who boasted two international players. The tight fought match ended in a draw with Matt scoring a try and adding the conversion.
