WEST Devon master chef Peter Gorton will be offering his famous charity lunches next month, in support of Little Harbour — the Children's Hospice near St Austell where families who have a child with a life limiting condition can enjoy a welcome break as a family.

On average it costs around £93 every week to buy the food for all the families staying at a children's hospice, so West Devon fundraiser Judy Pride is hopeful that diners at Gorton's in Tavistock will meet the cost of several week's food at Little Harbour by putting a donation in the gift aid envelopes.

Peter said: 'I am really pleased to be supporting Little Harbour because I know it's helping so many families from this area through a very difficult time in their lives.

'I've been a great supporter of this charity for a long time and it's great to be working with them all again.'

The charity lunches at Gorton's Restaurant in Tavistock run from October 2 to November 2 and Peter is also offering two evening charity dinners on October 10 and 17.
