MASTER?chef Peter Gorton showed how easy it is to cook on stoves and range cookers at a special event in?Tavistock last week.

Peter's demonstration was at the Dartmoor Stove Company's new showroom at Crelake Industrial Estate in Tavistock.

He entertained more than 40 people, giving them the chance to get involved with the cooking and sampling food he had prepared.

Peter described the event as 'brilliant': 'Lots of people think cooking on a range cooker is really difficult, I hope I showed that it's just as easy as cooking with a standard cooker.'

Ali Cox, who manages the showroom, which opened earlier this month, said: 'It was wonderful to welcome so many people into the showroom for this special event.

'It was a great opportunity for us to thank our clients, friends and associated for their support.'
