TEDDY bears filled the classrooms of Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary School recently as pupils got involved in some fundraising.
School pupil Blake, who is helping his mum Shelby Turner fundraise for a climb to Mount Everest basecamp in aid of Hope For Children, ran a raffle for a giant teddy bear, with games including ‘guess the name of the bear’ and guessing the sweets in a jar.
Children brought along their own teddies too, who sat on their desks for lessons and ate their lunch with the pupils.
The pupils donated £85.70 towards Shelby’s fundraising target. www.plymouth2019.everydayhero.com/uk/shelby-turner -climbs-mount-everest
