TAVISTOCK Athletic Club veterans were well represented at Plympton when nine of them entered the ten-kilometre road race on January 5.
As a result of heavy rain the usual course had to be altered and was nearer to seven miles than ten kilometres.
Star of the day was Martin Exley who was the first vet to complete the course, finishing an excellent fourth in the overall placings. Keith and Beryl Bowles also achieved placings in the over 55s? group.
