RESIDENTS at the Red House care home in Yelverton donned their stripey shirts for a French-themed day recently.

French café music was played on the accordion while residents feasted on garlic snails and crepe suzette and spent the afternoon building Eiffel Towers from marshmallows and cocktail sticks.
