EMERGENCY services were called to the A3124 about two miles from Whiddon Down at 5.50pm last Thursday after a green and white SJ410 Suzuki jeep overturned trapping a man inside.

Fire crews and ambulance staff helped to free the man who was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital by ambulance to receive treatment for his injuries.

The accident resulted in part of the road being blocked until about 7.30pm.
