THE RNLI Branch in Tavistock held a very successful coffee morning at the parish church hall on November 20, the intention being to raise funds for the organisation and to increase awareness of what the service does for those in trouble at sea.
The town crier, David Turner, announced the proceedings in the Guildhall square and then very kindly attended the event accompanied by his wife.
There were various stalls, the main one selling RNLI souvenirs and Christmas cards. All who came were offered tea, coffee and biscuits.
The chairman and committee wish to thank the helpers and all those who kindly donated prizes for the raffle, and look forward to seeing our supporters again next year.
