I WOULD like to thank staff, volunteers and those who use TASS (Tavistock Area Support Services) for their kind wishes and cards.

The last ten years has been a real rollercoaster of a journey with so many good things happening, supporting older and disabled people in Tavistock and outlying areas.

We have seen support from parish, town, district and county councils in providing funds to provide Shopmobility, new minibuses, voluntary cars, befriending and a lot lot more, and of course without the ‘Andy Says’ column in the Tavy Times and articles in parish magazines we would not have got the info out there!

We are very thankful to local donors and trust funds who believed in what we have achieved and have helped fund new services. It has been a real team contribution and I hope that TASS will continue to develop to provide much needed services over the coming years.

Once again with my thanks in helping TASS make a difference to others.
