THE dog show and fete at Meeth this year on Saturday, August 10, will be as before — fun for all the family and the family dog.

There will be ploughman's lunches and teas, stalls and all sorts of games of chance and skill, including super raffle, crafty croquet, human fruit machine, plant and cakes stalls and beautiful bargains.

New this year is a vintage vehicle gathering with steam engines, tractors, cars, motorbikes of yesteryear to admire.

The event is in aid of St Michael and All Angels Church, Meeth, and Devon Air Ambulance.

The dog show and vintage gathering open at 10.30am with lunches from noon to 2pm.

The fete starts at 2pm and teas from 3pm. Free parking all day. 

Admission to vintage vehicles only, £2 adults (including re-entry), children 16 and under free. Entries on the day for your dog. For vintage enquiries contact 01837 811866.
