THE Friends of St Loyes Group usually hold their Christmas event in South Zeal on the last Saturday in October. This year the date was already taken so I booked the 15th, but realising it was Okehampton Carnival I then changed it again to November 12! Now, having come around to publicising the events I have so many crossings out in my diary that for some reason I have advertised it as being this coming Saturday when it should be November 12. I would like to apologise for the confusion I may have caused, I certainly had the group in a panic! Our Okehampton sale will be held in the Charter Hall in the morning on November 26. All of the Christmas sale proceeds go towards helping disabled people receive training at St Loye?s College in Exeter. We would love to see faces old and new and welcome any donation for our stalls, these can be dropped off on the day of the events or telephone 01837 840124 to arrange collection.
