MEMBERS of the congregation of Tavistock Parish Church will be holding a Christmas Bazaar in the town hall on November 17.

The mayor, Cllr Anne Johnson, will open the event at 10.30am, accompanied by her consort, Paul Johnson. Town crier David Turner will also be attending with his wife, Rosemary.

Refreshments will be served all day and there will be a grand raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.

Stalls include cakes, good quality clothing, jewellery, glass, china,bric-a-brac, Christmas table decorations,and a tombola.

There will be a demonstration by Mrs Rita Lewis of a Christmas table decoration at 1am and 2pm.
