A DIAMOND few days packed full of family entertainment is set to take place in Tavistock from tomorrow (Friday) until Monday.
To mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the town hall and Bedford Square go vintage on Friday and Saturday, and Tavistock Garden Festival takes place in the pannier market, town hall and Bedford Square on Sunday and Monday.
There will be a big screen, large stage, food marquee and beer festival taking in the Meadows between 10am and 8pm on Sunday, and from 10am to 10pm on the Monday.
On Sunday, there will be a Zumba demonstration, teddy bear's picnic, Ju Jitsu, a magifician and belly dancing on the stage. Jungle Book and Madagascar are the films that can be seen on the big screen, at noon and 5.45pm. On Monday, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang can be seen at noon, and live broadcasts of national celebrations.
The music line-up features the Kirkwood Brown Trio, Kat Towes, The Madding Crowd, Tim and Matt, Ten Zero One, Skalets, 3s a Crowd and The Rock and Roll Outlaws.
