STAFF at a West Devon animal rescue centre took on an epic journey to walk more than 150 miles in six days in aid of rescue animals.
Julie Beale, Hannah Dunn, Niki Ging and Catherine Jones impressively walked from their base at the Margaret Green Animal Rescue Centre at Wingletang to the head office in Church Knowle, Dorset, accompanied by some of their four-legged friends.
The staff struggled for six days, trekking up hill and down dale, followed along the way by a support van.
They have so far raised £3,553 but want to raise £5,000 for the rescue animals at Margaret Green Animal Rescue Centre.
Donna White at the centre said: 'This was a major feat for their feet! We are very proud of what they have achieved, and even with all the training they did prior to the walk, it was much harder than they ever expected. The dogs were fantastic also.'
The team expressed thanks to Arden Grange for donating food for the dogs during the walk.
Donations are still being gratefully received. Anyone who would like to help the team reach their target can support them at http://www.justgiving.com/walkingforanimals">www.justgiving.com/walkingforanimals
Donna said: 'With more and more animals in need of care, we rely on your support to provide much needed funds so that our work can continue.'
