TRAFFIC in Plymouth Road was disrupted on Monday morning after a South West Highways? lorry demolished a wall.

Delays were caused between 11.15am and 12.15pm as the scene was cleared of debris and a number of cement bags from the lorry which had been deposited in the road.

The transit pick-up lorry went through a wall and into a house opposite the bus station.

Damage to the house was minimal.

The driver was taken to Derriford Hospital as a precautionary measure but had suffered no injuries.
