PEOPLE in need of a de-clutter are being invited to a 'swap shop' in Gunnislake on Saturday.
Bring your surplus good-quality children's toys, books and clothes to the swap shop, hosted by Orchard Learning Studios between 10am and 1pm.
People are invited to bring up to 20 items or bundles, which are each exchanged for a numbered ticket. Then they can browse among the offerings and swap their ticket for another item.
Items should be clean and in good condition, smaller items such as sleepsuits, vests etc can be bundled in sets of three or five and tied together or placed in clear plastic bags — top and trouser sets can be joined together in a similar way. Label each item clearly with age range, number of items if bundled and where possible, the make or brand.
Donors can recover any items remaining at the end of the event, or items left uncollected will be taken to a charity shop on their behalf.
All donors will be asked to nominate their preferred charity when bringing their items.
Entry is free and refreshments will be available.
