SALLY Hordern and Richard Hill (above) were recently presented with long service certificates for their work as caseworkers for the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen Families Association Forces Help.

The presentation, by Alan Johnson, West Devon divisional secretary, took place at the Fox and Hounds Inn, Lydford where the West Devon Division of SSAFA meets.

SSAFA is the oldest general service charity, helping serving and ex-service personnel and their families since 1885: there is no time bar for those who can apply for and receive help; there are many still from the Second World War who are provided with assistance by caseworkers, as well as men and women who served more recently.

Anyone interested in getting involved as a caseworker call Alan Johnson on 01822 612527.
