TWO members of the Tavistock branch of the British Heart Foundation have received long service awards for 25 years with the charity.

Pearl Pearson and Gwyn Lawler were presented with awards at a seminar held at the Eden Project recently.

Tavistock branch secretary Kris Budge said: 'They both work tirelessly for the foundation and also find time to help in one of the town's charity shops.'
