THE British Tae Kwon-Do Championships were held in the Nottingham arena again this year. With more than 1,000 competitors, including the English national squad and teams from over Europe, it was an awe-inspiring event. The South West was well represented as ever, not least by Tavistock TAGB?s Liz Gray. Liz is one of the original students of the recently formed club which is developing a high standard. Liz entered her patterns in a large category which included ladies from her belt and two higher divisions. She won bronze in the play-offs and is now the third best yellow belt woman in the country. Not bad for a first attempt at a competition!
