DUO Ten String, with German cellist Barbara Degener and classical guitarist Angela Wunnam, will be in concert at St. Michael's Church, Chagford on Saturday September 27, 2003, at 7.30pm.

Audiences always respond enthusiastically to this lively and unusual duo, who are guaranteed to provide a wonderful evening's entertainment. Their listeners are enchanted and fascinated by the amazing possibilities of the classical guitar and cello together: a superb combination of beautiful instruments, warm and exciting sounds, performed by two skilled and vibrant musicians.

The special musical magic that Angela and Barbara bring, with their almost telepathic communication, ensures a performance to relish.

Barbara, who now lives in Cornwall, studied the cello in Germany with many top artists and has given concerts all over Europe. Angela also performs regularly in other ensembles and completed a tour in Germany with the Tamar Classical Guitar Quintet, where they appeared on television.

Barbara and Angela formed Duo Ten String in 2001 and have since then brought great pleasure to many audiences with their thrilling performances.

On September 27, the duo will be giving an evening of beautiful, passionate and exciting music from Spain, South-America and Eastern Europe.
