TWELVE literacy boxes were packed by students from Kelly College and Tavistock College last week ready to send to villages across Zambia.
The students, who are part of a group called Interact — a sub-section of the Rotary Club of Tavistock, collected items for the boxes, which ranged from pencils and exercise books to skipping ropes and footballs.
These boxes will bring the total number sent to Zambia to 400 as part of Literacy in a Box, which is run by the Rotary Club.
