THE Okehampton and District Lions Club's grand Easter egg draws raised a grand total of £489.82 for local charities.

The club expressed thanks to everyone that bought tickets in their grand Easter egg draws in and around the town, and all the venues involved that made the draws such a great success.

The winners were as follows: Okehampton College Murder Mystery - Aaron Beacom; Red Lion Yard - Tom Curtis; Crossways Inn, Folly Gate - John Squire; Hatherleigh Market - Andrew Varney; George Hotel, Hatherleigh - Janice Bunker; Okehampton Area - Emma Nicks.
