THE Lions Club of Callington recently presented a cheque for £1,000 to the Callington Scout Group towards the repair of their roof.
The scouts have had a problem with a leaking roof on their hut for ten years now. As well as the scouts, the hut is used by cubs, beavers and various community groups.
The money comes from the Lions? general charity fund, raised through events such as Gala Day and the Honey Fair.
