WEST Devon Junior Life Skills received a £500 boost from Okehampton Town Council last week.

The organisation, which offers basic life skills to hundreds of local youngsters at courses held at Okehampton Training Camp on Dartmoor, was granted the money at a meeting of the council's policy and resources committee last week.
