MARY Tavy and Brentor Primary School pupils will continue to have their noses buried in books as the mobile library service visits to the school have been saved.
Devon Library Services were going to withdraw the mobile library service from Horndon because of the lack of customers, but West Devon Borough councillor Terry Pearce liaised with the library service to arrange for the van to call at the school once a fortnight.
Headteacher Nicky Pratten said the children loved the opportunity to borrow books and looked forward to seeing the van arrive.
