OKEHAMPTON Library is offering children the chance to win prizes as part of the exciting Summer Reading Challenge.
This year’s challenge is called The Big Friendly Read, inspired by the cherished Roald Dahl classic, The BFG.
The challenge, which aims to encourage reading on a gigantic scale, takes place every year during the summer holidays and is free for all children.

Every child that completes the challenge is presented with a certificate and medal. The library also has over 70 prizes, including special Roald Dahl ‘spot’ prizes, that will be randomly presented to some of children.
The reading challenge is open now and finishes on September 10.
The challenge has been kindly supported by the Friends of Okehampton Library and Merlin Cinemas.
