VILLAGERS across the West Devon area can take advantage of the mobile library service regardless of whether they have a library card or not.

To use the services of the mobile library, individuals can fill in a form on the spot and a mobile library card will be issued immediately, allowing the user to borrow books right away.

The local mobile library passes through Belstone, Sticklepath, South Tawton, South Zeal, Lewdown, Spreyton, Bratton Clovelly and Whiddon Down every other Wednesday.

The times for the next mobile library visit on January 25 are as follows:

Belstone Green, 9am to 9.45am. Sticklepath Oak Tree Gardens, 9.55am to 10.40am. South Tawton, Taw Green, 10.50am to 11.10am. South Tawton, the Seven Stars Inn, 11.20am to 11.40am. South Zeal, Old Post House, 11.50am to 12.35pm. Zeal Head, 12.40pm to 1pm. Lewdown War Memorial, 1.30pm to 2.15pm. Spreyton, 2.10pm to 2.55pm, Bratton Clovelly, 3pm to 3.45pm, and Whiddon Down Chapel, 3.40pm to 4.25pm.
