TAVISTOCK Library has an exciting programme of events taking place throughout August to keep youngsters and grown-ups entertained.

On Wednesday August 4 there will be an illustration workshop Is There An Alien In My Spaceship? with popular illustrator of the Astrosaurs books Woody Fox from 10.30am. Tickets are 50p from the library.

As part of the Space Hop series, on August 11 at 2pm will be alien model making and August 23 at 10am will be finger puppet making at Clangers in Space. For more information and free tickets, visit the library.

The library Scrabble Club meets every Thursday from 2pm to 4pm with refreshments, and Computer Training UK online every Tuesday at 9.30am.

Every Saturday morning is the Early Years Story-time for younger children from 11.10am for an hour.
