FOLLOWING their success at the West Festival a few weeks ago, the boys from Lewdown Cricket Club travelled to South Devon CC at Newton Abbot for the Devon County U10s Asda Kwik Cricket Finals.
The boys were not daunted and produced superb performances. The highlight being the victory against local favourites Blackpool.
Unbeaten in the five group matches, Lewdown faced last year's winners Stockdale in the final. However their Devon player hit 15 off the final over, for Stockdale to win by seven runs.
Leon Horn, Callum Worth, Jacob Jones, Jacob Brown, Harry Bryant and Daniel Jenkin were all outstanding.
The team will now represent Devon at the South and West Region Festival at Kings College, Taunton on July 13.
