THE annual dinner dance of the Okehampton branch and social club of the Royal British Legion will be held later this month, and should ?eclipse? all other dances.
Music for the evening will be provided by ?Eclipse?, a band from Plymouth, with a wonderful reputation for playing a wide variety of music, suited to all tastes.
The dance takes place on Friday, November 28 at the Conservative Club in Okehampton, from 7pm to 1am.
There are still some tickets, which can be purchased at the Royal British Legion Social Club in Station Road or from the event?s organiser, Les King (tel 01837 840757).
Dress for this event, traditionally well attended and much enjoyed by the Okehampton community, is lounge suit.
There will be the usual draw with a number of prizes. Once costs for the evening have been covered, any profit from this annual event will go to the Poppy Appeal Fund.
