THE history and folklore surrounding Dartmoor will be examined in a talk in Princetown at the end of the month.
On Sunday, September 30, at 2pm, a guide will present a one-hour talk 'Dartmoor's Legends and Folklore' at the High Moorland visitor centre, Princetown.
The autumn season of Dartmoor National Park guided walks, talks and events steps up in coming weeks.
The walks vary from short strolls to longer routes through breathtaking scenery.
On Sunday at 10.30am there is a two-hour riverside ramble from Newbridge. A six-hour high moor walk from Sticklepath will be held on Wednesday, September 26.
