FREE food is the subject of a special event taking place at RHS Garden Rosemoor this month.
Food for Free day is being held on Saturday October 11, to celebrate the riches of the hedgerow and countryside and show how nature can feed you for nothing.
During the day, there will be talks by Victoria Cranfield of Cranfield's Food Ltd, who makes jam and preserves from produce to be found in the garden.
Victoria will inspire visitors to Rosemoor to take more notice of what is growing, and how it can be used.
There will also be fungi foraging walks during the day, which will teach people which types of fungi they can eat and which types they should avoid.
Rosemoor's events supervisor, Diana Gilding, said: 'There are so many types of food that can be gathered in the wild in Britain, and the day is aimed at educating people on how to identify these and take them from garden to plate!
'As well as saving food miles, you'll get to enjoy lovely fresh food every day!'
