Devon and Exeter intermediate one Okehampton Argyle 4 Feniton 0 Okehampton started the game stronger with slick passing and movement which cut holes in the Feniton defence from the kick off. With only four minutes gone a good ball from James Callaghan found Dan Leahy just inside the box; Leahy made a crisp turn and his shot left the Feniton keeper flat footed as the ball nestled into the corner of the net. Okehampton continued the half creating lots more chances and the best move of the half saw a great cross field ball from Mark Hampson picking out Stuart Entwistle, whose fine touch to Leahy was volleyed inches wide. The miss of the half fell to Paul Yip who was found unmarked in front of an open goal due to Callaghan's unselfishness but his touched let him down and he missed. Argyle had so much of the half that the defence were nearly caught out twice pushing too far forward but Feniton found Harry Geering in goal with so little to do at his best and pulled off two great saves. The second half saw Feniton come more into the game as they took hold in midfield, causing Oke's defence of Hampson , Kevin Gill, Aaron Ditchburn and Tom Williams lots of problems. To their credit and hard work they managed to keep Feniton at bay and with the rest of the team took back control of the game. More chances were created and missed before Argyle killed the game off with goals from Callaghan, and substitutes Adam Mortimore and Ricky Drew who also was cautioned for over celebrating on his first game back from injury. l This Saturday Okehampton Argyle Seconds are at home against Alphington, 3pm kick off.
